It all began in 2009 with the creation of a structure specialising in the manufacture of racing cars by Stéphane Orré, an amateur driver and graduate engineer from the French Institute of Advanced Mechanics in Clermont-Ferrand (now Sigma). Right from the start, MTechnologies distinguished itself by creating cars that won the French Rallycross Championship (2009, 2010), then the European Rallycross runner-up title in (2012, 2015). These successes quickly attracted renowned drivers such as Sébastien Loeb at the X Games (2012) and Romain Grosjean at the Andros Trophy (2014).
The company became Fors Technologies in 2016, and has moved up a gear by strengthening its skills base and its range of expertise. From now on, it is in all areas of mobility that it cultivates the know-how acquired in motor sport, a sector in which it has become a sure bet.
Indeed, Fors Technologies has distinguished itself by operating Renault Megane RS RX and Clio RS RX in World RX for various teams, including Guerlain Chicherit. Proof of its organisational strength, the structure will line up up to five cars per round during the 2019 and 2020 seasons with top drivers such as Andreas Bakkerud and Anton Marklund.
By joining the Green Corp Konnection (GCK) group at the end of 2020, Fors Technologies, which has become GCK Performance, is strengthening its expertise in the prototyping and mechanical integration of new low-carbon technologies, whether it be electric or hydrogen propulsion. With this versatility, GCK Performance is now positioned as one of the few French companies capable of rapidly designing and manufacturing a turnkey clean vehicle.
“With a long experience in high level motorsport, GCK Performance has innovation and optimisation in its DNA. Our strength is to combine the reactivity of a small company with the technological power of a large group. In concrete terms, we can quickly design and manufacture a vehicle from A to Z, integrating the very latest technologies.”
