New mobility GCK PERFORMANCE

At GCK Performance, we are working to make mobility cleaner by creating or transforming vehicles that will then be tested in motorsport. In the long term, the aim is to implement these innovative technologies in future vehicles intended for everyday use.

E-BLAST H2
A prototype for Rally-raid

The e-Blast, the first prototype to be unveiled in 2021 at the Dakar, was an all-electric vehicle. After several test sessions in extreme conditions, it enabled the GCK Performance teams to gather the data they needed to develop its H2 version: increasing the power of the electric motor, reducing the capacity of the battery pack and integrating a new cooling system to recharge the vehicle more quickly.

Hydrogen fuel cell with electric propulsion

In partnership with FEV, a fuel cell with an output of around 200 kW has been developed and perfected by GCK, and is powered by 30 kg of hydrogen stored in four R134-certified tanks at a pressure of 700 bar.

LANCIA DELTA EVO-E
A real icon

Design and manufacture of the first three examples of the Lancia Delta Evo-e, which were used for the development, homologation and industrialisation of this iconic model retrofitted with electric power.

GCK Performance called on the other subsidiaries of the GCK Group to equip the vehicle with an 8-brick 48-3 POWER battery and a specific PDU developed by GCK Battery, as well as a GCK 150kW motor designed by Solution F.

LANCIA DELTA MOTUL
A demonstrator to test a battery

To improve the thermal management of on-board batteries in electric vehicles, Motul and GCK Battery have developed an immersion battery technology tested in our prototype that enables the fluid to be replaced quickly.

Immersion battery

While considerable progress has been made in recent years in the technological development of lithium batteries, one of the main challenges remains the ability to cool them efficiently.
Direct immersion is currently one of the most promising solutions to this challenge. Motul has developed a highly specialised dielectric heat transfer fluid in which the entire battery designed by GCK Battery is immersed, thereby controlling heat build-up due to high-speed charging.
